Two Tasmanian Boys, One Obsession
Ventra AI is run by two Tasmanian boys, Dan and Nelson. We're two guys in our young 20s raised on entrepreneurship. Dan's father is a high-level software engineer, and Nelson's parents own a real estate agency with over two decades of customer service behind them. As the saying goes, the apple does not fall far from the trees - Dan's the brains of the operation, and Nelson, well, some say he's the sleazy salesman (joking).
Fun fact, we have also lived together. Both of us come from families who have run businesses their entire lives. Similarly, both our parents are foreign, Chinese and Austrian, so long hours and 60h+ work weeks have been instilled into us from a young age.
Hair and beauty salons are the only Australian businesses we work with, and never in 100 years did we think you'd be this busy. 24/7, always switched into business mode. We were wrong. You guys are a different breed.
Most B2B software partnerships are transactional and surface level. Our goal, as Nelson likes to say, is simple: take your money, make you more money, make your life easier, and enjoy the process along the way.
Our philosophy on business: be so personal that it almost frightens our clients. Always being available, whether it's Sunday 6pm or a Thursday night at 10:14pm. Simply being competent enough that our clients just know they're in good hands whenever they need us.

Competence
The worst feeling in the world is paying for something, feeling that relief, then realising you still have to do 75% of the work. We hate that too. Ventra is Done For You: we control 100% of the controllable so you and the system operate above industry standard.
Client Customer Service
When your clients call or message, they want answers quick. Same goes for you. We can't promise 1 second replies, but whenever either of us has a free second we're answering your question, jumping on a call to troubleshoot, or doing our weekly proactive check in.
We like to think we're the equivalent of a small boutique salon. You walk in, you can relax, you get a warm beverage made for you after a long day, you enjoy yourself in the chair, get to know your stylists and genuinely enjoy the salon atmosphere. Not physically of course, we're far from hairdressers, but that's the equivalent of how we like to operate at Ventra.
